Michael is the Chairman and CEO of the O’Flynn Group.
Established in 1978, as a house building company and which progressed into one of the largest property development companies in Ireland. O’Flynn Group, with its Head Office in Cork and offices in Dublin and London, has extensive investment, development, and asset management capability in the core property sectors (especially residential, student accommodation, offices, industrial and retail).
The Group has an established and strong reputation overseas particularly in the UK. It also has expertise in property backed operating businesses such as student accommodation.
Michael is actively involved in representing the policy objectives of the property sector in Ireland.
He has recently served on the Government Housing Commission and actively engages with the relevant housing bodies using the knowledge he has acquired throughout his career to ensure that Ireland has the best opportunity to deal with the current housing crisis.
He is a founding member of Property Industry Ireland, is a former Chairman of the Cork branch of the Construction Industry Federation and recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the National Property Awards.
