Dan is the current Secretary of the Construction Bar Association and has served as a Member of the Executive Committee since October 2023. Dan received his undergraduate degree in law from University College Cork, before completing a Masters in Law (LLM) at Trinity College Dublin. Dan has also completed postgraduate diplomas in corporate, regulatory and white-collar crime, as well as in arbitration. Dan was called to the bar in July 2021 and regularly acts for insured defendants in professional negligence proceedings, with a particular focus on design professionals, solicitors and accountants. Dan also acts in commercial and chancery matters, as well as construction disputes.
